About the service
We work with you to find a new home or keep your existing one, helping you to live as independently as possible and reduce the damaging effects that drug use can have on you and your local community.
We do this by supporting you in the following areas:
- Finding and setting up a home
- Advice and guidance around debt and money management
- Dealing with evictions and possession proceedings
- Help to access education, training and employment opportunities
- Making benefit claims
- Help with understanding housing rights and responsibilities
- Help with resolving problems with neighbours
- Support with developing the skills you need to live independently
- Help to access specialist services to address your substance misuse issues
- Help to maintain contact with statutory services and other support providers.
One-to-one support
You will be allocated your own support worker who will help you identify and overcome any housing-related difficulties that are preventing you from living independently or putting you at risk of homelessness.
